After 30 years of pastoral ministry in regional and city Presbyterian
churches, Sandy is seeking to build into the next generations of pastoral
leadership. He has training and interest in mentoring as well as supervision.
He still serves on a consultancy team for the Presbyterian Church in NSW, and
in supply preaching..
Location & Cost
Sandy is based in Wonoona, NSW (Northern Illawarra). He may be able to
travel to Sydney for face-to-face supervision or meet online over Zoom.
Fees: $100 or by negotiation, payable by invoice
after each session.

Experience
Over 25 years, Sandy led a Presbyterian Church in Wagga Wagga
through a period of revitalisation and growth. He then led Drummoyne
Presbyterian Church through 5 years of transition.
Sandy was trained in mentoring by Les Scarborough and did
some mentoring of other pastors and elders through his years of pastoral
ministry. He has also been a coach of MTS trainees. He has had the privilege of
feeding into the lives of many now serving in various ministries.
Sandy has been involved in the Presbyterian
Church consultancy team since 2014,
which involves regular training in consultancy skills and acting as consultant
in various church situations. He has also been a facilitator of Spiritual
Renewal Groups. He served as Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in NSW
in 2011-2012, and continues to serve on denominational governance committees. He
is an active member of Woonona Presbyterian Church.
Sandy desires to use his experience to help new generations
of those in ministry to be faithful and effective in their practice.
