Our Pastoral Supervisors

Rev. Kurt Peters

Kurt is the Director of Red Sheep, an ordained pastor with nearly two decades of experience coaching, counselling, mentoring and supervising christian ministry workers. He is trained pastor, counsellor and supervisor registered with Australasian Association of Supervisors (AAOS).

Rev. Peter Sondergeld

Peter is the lead pastor of Restoration Church, which he was instrumental in planting in 2011. He is the founder and Director of Restore Ministries. He is a registered teacher, counsellor and counselling supervisor with ACA. He is the author of the book 'Becoming You'.

Rev. Katherine Fletcher

Katherine is an ordained minister and has been co-Senior Pastor of her church for 13 years. She is recognised supervisor with Chaplaincy Australia and the Australasian Association of Supervisors (AAOS). Katherine has experience in church planting and leadership development, chaplaincy, mentoring, and pastoral care.

Rev. Ed Vaughan

Ed has been in pastoral ministry for over thirty years. He was involved in church planting and church revitalisation with decades of experience in leadership and ministry coaching. He is a registered supervisor with Australasian Association of Supervisors (AAOS) while also training future Pastoral Supervisors through St Marks, Canberra.

Jo Patterson

Jo Patterson has a background in healthcare, having trained and worked as a physiotherapist. She then worked in pastoral ministry for 10 years, developing her skills in biblical counselling. This led her to training as a chaplain and is now a spiritual care coordinator in Aged care. She is also a fully accredited pastoral supervisor and lives in Lake Macquarie region in NSW.

Christine Mao

Having a background in Social Work and working for over 14 years in hospital chaplaincy as well as ministry in the local church and a global mission organisation Christine understands the dynamics, strains and boundaries of being on the 'front line' of people work. She holds degrees in social work, theology Professional Supervision and is an Associate member of the Australiasian Association of Supervisors.

Allan Mao

Allan is an ordained Presbyterian minister and trained supervisor registered with the Australasian Association of Supervisors (AAOS). He has been involved in pastoral ministries and church-based discipleship training over the past two decades.

Rev. Keith McPherson

Keith is an ordained Anglican minister and trained supervisor registered with the Australasian Association of Supervisors (AAOS). He has been serving within Anglican Churches across a range of churchmanship for 35 years, being most involved in the Dioceses of Canberra, Goulburn; Sydney; Armidale and Grafton.

Caroline Spencer

Caroline is qualified as a Pastoral Supervisor and is a member of AAOS (Australian Associate of Supervisors). Currently she works as a Mentor and Trainer for City Bible Forum and as an Associate Minister for Willoughby Park Anglican Church.

Dr Andrew Ball

Andrew is an endorsed Churches of Christ minister and has served as a movement team leader for 18 years prior to semi-retiring on the NSW Southcoast. He is registered as a professional supervisor with the Australasian Association of Supervisors (AAOS) and also engages in spiritual mentoring and systems consultancies.

Karine Woldhuis

'Karine is a trained professional supervisor registered with the Australasian Association of Supervisors and Chaplaincy Australia with over 15 years of ministry experience including cross cultural mission, pastoral care, discipleship and mentoring. Karine is fluent in Spanish and can provide supervision in both English and Spanish.’

Kathryn Martens

Kathryn has a wealth of leadership experience in ministry, tertiary education, and corporate contexts. As well as a Professional Supervisor, she is a seasoned executive coach, business mentor and ADHD coach. Kathryn is registered with the Australasian Association of Supervisors (AAOS) and Chaplaincy Australia.

Rev. Sandy McMillan

After 30 years of pastoral ministry in regional and city Presbyterian churches, Sandy is seeking to build into the next generations of pastoral leadership. He has training and interest in mentoring as well as supervision. He still serves on a consultancy team for the Presbyterian Church in NSW, and in supply preaching.

James Cox

James is a member of AAOS, and has studied Christian Ministry &Theology, Pastoral Supervision, Spiritual Mentoring and VET Training & Assessing. He sees Supervision as an incredible opportunity for reflective learning, a place for moving seamlessly between encouragement and challenge, and a way to explore issues in creative ways.
